The thickness of the leather is reduced by using a skiving machine to thin the flesh side of the leather.

• You can specify the finished thickness of the leather in increments of 0.1 mm. (Some types of leather may not be suitable for processing.)
- We cannot skive paper if the difference between the original thickness and your desired finished thickness is less than 0.2mm.
For example, if the original thickness is 1.0 mm and the finished thickness is 0.8 mm, the difference will be less than 0.2 mm, making processing impossible.
・The thinnest finish is 0.5mm. We cannot accept orders for thicknesses of 0.4mm or less.
Depending on the part of the leather used, there may be an error of approximately ±0.1-0.2 mm.
・For embossed leather, the thickness varies due to the uneven surface, so skiving is not possible.
Divided papermaking
• The basic cut is a vertical 2-way division. For any other requests, please contact us separately via email.
- You can choose to have the material cut in two and skive only one side, or skive both sides.
• The cut is a proportion of the width. It is an approximate position. (View in the same direction as the overall photo.)

・Skipping Price: 880 yen (including tax). (880 yen for the skiving process)
• Price for split papermaking... for one side only ( (880 yen x 1 time for straining), both ( (Filling fee: 880 yen x 2 times)
